My uncle is paying us a visit this weekend. He just flew in from San Francisco yesterday, and we've been showing him around town and many places that we go to. So far it's been nice.

Well, I'm back from my trip up to New York. It was only for a few days, so I made as much time and effort I could with my father and family.

My dad is doing fine. He does get a little lonely at times, but he still talks with his neighbors and staff that run his place. We stay in touch all the time, and I know he was very happy to see me. We spent our time just hanging out and having lunch or coffee together.

My cousin and his wife are doing good as well. They stick to their usual routines. But his son and I have spent a great deal of time together as well. We played video games, watched movies and drove around town. So it wasn't all that mundane.

It was actually my first time flying solo, so it was a whole new experience for me. One thing I learned about airports is you have to stay updated on your flight, because sometimes they switch gates and delay their arrivals. It was a good thing I caught onto that, otherwise I might have ended up in Minneapolis. Ha,ha.

But I made it back with no problem, and I will be back to doing more stories with Remy and my other characters. So, no worries.

It's sure been an interesting week for me. And so far this year has been off to a good start. I'll see where else it leads to.

The year 2023 was one of the biggest years of my life. I moved down to North Carolina with my mom, I got a new job down there, got my license and saw many of the sights that were there. As well as Virginia. There were so many things accomplished throughout the year. And a lot of drawings and stories that I wrote.

So, for this year I have a few things planned out already. First, I know I haven't posted anything for a few days, because I've had a lot of things to take care of at home. But I will be continuing on with Remy's adventures later this month.

Second, I will be flying up to New York for a couple days to visit my dad. He's looking forward to seeing me as much as I am with him.

And I know this year will have its crazy moments (like every year does), but I just hope it doesn't get too crazy. I can't even watch the news anymore.

Anyway, I just thought I'd let everyone in on what I went through and what will be doing later in this new year.

It has been a very busy week for me. I finally found a job. It's at another supermarket. Even though I wanted to find something different, I'm still okay with it. It's hard work, but I still manage to keep up.

I've worked six days in a row this week, so I haven't had a whole lot of time to do up my stories. I'm still working on the third part of Remy's day at the beach with his friends, Kyle and Bradley. Hopefully I can get it finished soon, though I'm not in any hurry.

But I will, eventually.

Watching: Unsolved Mysteries

Since I moved down to North Carolina, it has been one accomplishment, one adventure after another.

I have settled in with my mom and her boyfriend, and have done a tremendous amount already.

Last month I finally took my road test and got my driver's license. It has been something I've been trying to achieve for a long time.

We have seen many sights and gone to several places in the area.

I've been spending quite a bit of time at the beach, and have been enjoying every minute of it.

I'm still looking for a job, but hopefully I'll land one somewhere.

I still miss my father, even though he's doing okay as well. I hope to see him again soon.
